Jaco UltraLite 500 Series carts deliver shift-long power – up to 12.5 hours runtime on a single charge.* UltraLite 500’s lithium iron (LiFe) battery chemistry is fast-charging, stable, reliable and long-lasting; each battery is warrantied for an industry-leading 3 years or 4000 recharge cycles. And UltraLite 500’s light weight, compact design and easy maneuverability make it the rare full-sized powered cart that’s agile enough for bedside care.
Jaco UltraLite 500’s on-board lithium iron (LiFe) batteries are fast-charging and long-lasting – they deliver up to 12.5 hours of runtime per 2.5-hour charge. AC power output provides the widest possible choice of computer and peripheral equipment today, and in the future. Choose either a 250 Wh or 500 Wh battery configuration to best fit your runtime requirements and you budget. Each battery is warrantied for 3 years or 4000 recharge cycles, to keep your mobile cart supply chain costs to a minimum over time.
With its light weight, slim dimensions and simple, clean design, UltraLite 500 is much easier to maneuver than a bulky plastic powered cart. The compact, low-profile wheelbase fits easily under patient beds, letting nurses get closer to the point of care without jarring, bumping or crashing. Power cables are almost totally concealed and out of the way. For even greater maneuverability, add Jaco's optional, patented TRAC™ steering system – and just press a pedal to move the cart in a perfectly straight-line and around sharp corners, under total control.
UltraLite 500 is strong enough to support a broad range of computer hardware and peripherals, and can easily be customized for applications from rounding and bedside medication to telemedicine. Add mounts for barcode scanners, printers, secure sign-on readers and other devices; attach baskets, wipes holders and sharps containers, or drawers and bins for storage or medication delivery. If necessary, Jaco’s engineers can custom-create mounts for specific devices or accessories, in the location that’s best for your workflow.
Like all Jaco carts, UltraLite 500 is built from strong, lightweight, aircraft-grade aluminum – not plastic – with a non-porous antimicrobial finish that resists the spread of bacteria and disinfects easily. UltraLite 500’s electronic components are stored higher on the cart (not in the base), where they’re easier to keep clean and free of damaging debris and dust. Top-to-bottom ergonomic design and easy, 16” worksurface height adjustment allow nurses to work standing or sitting, in greater comfort, with reduced likelihood of stress or injury.
