Management

Fred Rossini
CEO and Founder
Fred Rossini founded JACO 32 years ago. Since then, the company has grown steadily under his guidance. For one thing, Fred has always kept everyone focused on satisfying customer needs. Meanwhile, he has guided his company through economic storms so well that JACO is now sailing way ahead of any competitor. Fred's leadership abilities were first apparent when, as a young worker on the floor of a tool and die shop he took on responsibilities well beyond those expected of him. If something needed doing or someone was treated improperly, he took it on himself to get it done. He tapped that initiative, and capitalized on his gift for visualizing finished products from drawings - while improving them - to establish JACO. Since 1972, the extreme loyalty and enthusiasm of JACO's customers and employees is proof that this man's vision and follow-through, are the real deal.

"With all our state-of-the-art equipment and constant process refinements, the way we partner with our people and with our customers is what makes JACO the one to beat. We squeeze the biggest savings from intangibles that the bean counters can't even count."
- FRED ROSSINI

Bert Santucci
VP Operations
In the late 1960's, Bert Santucci built the first bar code scanner in the world. In 1972, he became a JACO customer. Shortly after that, JACO CEO and founder Fred Rossini asked Bert to run JACO's fabrication shop, and Bert has been helping Fred steer JACO ever since. His strategy for success is to hire and keep the best, most highly skilled people regardless of market fluctuations. Under his leadership, the company has consistently grown and prospered, even while a significant number of competitors, including several that were larger, closed their doors. Over the past 20 years JACO has on four occasions added substantial production capacity and has increased the number of employees from 20 to 140 people. Today, more than one out of every three JACO employees has been with the company for at least 12 years, and some as long as 32 years-a foundation of invaluable institutional expertise and experience.

"As technology advanced, so did we. All along, we made sure our equipment and systems were the very best. Today we can't be touched on technology, quality, responsiveness, cost containment or customer satisfaction. Ask around. Better still, come out and see for yourself. 96% of people who do, end up wanting JACO to work with them."
- BERT SANTUCCI

Kevin Griswold
Vice President
Kevin Griswold began his career at JACO fifteen years ago as an estimator. He worked his way up the ranks to become purchasing manager, engineering manager, and operations manager before being appointed general manager. As a result, he leads with a deep, hands-on knowledge of what team members must do to deliver the highest quality products on time and on budget. Over the years, Kevin has implemented countless production improvements, enabling JACO to deliver superior precision sheet metal solutions job after job. He has brought on board millions of dollars of the latest, most efficient lasers, robotics, system software, and personnel training programs. Kevin holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

"We've studied our competitors. Our superiority is real. We've always invested in the latest, most efficient lasers, robotics, system software and personnel training. The latest, greatest technologies are on the job at JACO, continuously raising the standards in our industry."
- KEVIN GRISWOLD

Gary Brayton
National Sales
Manager
A JACO veteran of 18 years, Gary Brayton was previously a senior mechanical buyer for a major biomedical company, where his standards for mission critical products were so high and his frustration in finding quality suppliers so great that he went out on the road to evaluate manufacturers, including JACO, first hand. He was so impressed with the way JACO treated him as a customer to make the relationship work and anticipated and resolved problems, that he became more than a believer - in 1986 he joined JACO as a sales engineer. In a little over four years, he was appointed National Sales Manager. Gary holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire.

"The culture here makes total sense. Everyone from the founder to the clean-up crew is a respected team member. We work together with, not just for, our partner and customers-blue chips like Infologix, Motorola, Nortel and Sonus, and start-ups with products we can make better."
- GARY BRAYTON

Tom Bagley
Engineering Manager
As JACO's engineering manager, Tom Bagley manages ten senior design engineers and is the keystone of a well-managed collaboration involving JACO partners, customers, sales, manufacturing, and management. Since joining JACO 11 years ago, Tom worked his way up from engineering technician to mechanical engineer to become Engineering Manager. He has the in-depth experience to communicate clearly with production staff who shape, weld, punch, and assemble the designs he and his engineering team create. As ISO Management Representative, he led the JACO ISO Certification Team to win ISO 9001 certification. He also headed the "E-Doc" team that moved the Engineering and Document Control departments from paper-driven processes to real-time electronic specification.

"Our design / engineering staff, the industry's largest, can take an idea from rough notes to working blueprints in hours or days, instead of weeks or months. Our solid modeling digital tools allow for over-the-shoulder design reviews enabling us to render solutions at amazing speed."
- TOM BAGLEY
