Ease of Use

JACO-built mobile computer carts are designed and engineered for ease of use in the hospital environment. Our unique all-metal construction allows our engineers to design computer carts on wheels that respond to all conditions in hospital settings, from department to department. Because JACO mobile computer carts are built from high-strength metal versus plastic, we can create designs and features that will provide a unique balance and performance unlike any other medical cart.

A uniquely designed shaft allows for a 5% angle toward the healthcare worker, eliminating the need to bend or reach towards the work station. This design also contributes to the ease of use when pushing the cart through corridors and patient rooms. With a patented ’Trac’ system, the JACO mobile computer cart can shift easily into a patented drive system which creates a cart movement like no other. This trac system allows the nurse or healthcare provider to direct the cart in a straight line, turn corners on a dime and maneuver into the tightest areas effortlessly with one hand.

JACO designs its own power systems which can be replaced in about one minute. Cost is also held in check because we control the manufacturing process and build our future designed carts based on power system configurations of past models.

Customization

Wireless Hospital Carts Configured for Your Workflow

JACO’s workstation on wheels come in a variety of configurations to meet your health care environment needs. With a host of options, including powered and non-powered carts, you can configure a JACO workstation on wheels to meet the needs of your individualized work flows. Unlike the competition, whose products are confined by plastic molded components that cannot be easily changed or modified, JACO fabricates all of their wireless hospital carts from high quality metals. This gives us the flexibility to design and integrate custom features and options as needed.

JACO also creates our own power management software, CartCare Client and Fleet Manager in house. We provide both software programs with all of our new medical carts. This allows you to customize your workstation on wheels carts and monitor them to achieve a better ROI for your organization. Our hierarchical-architecture allows for multiple Fleet Manager monitoring stations to be deployed, enabling access not only at the IT level, but also from department level, if required. Using your Virtual Private Network (VPN) facilities FleetManager can monitor, configure, and message with point of care carts deployed throughout your enterprise even amongst widely disbursed physical facilities.
