New Wireless PC MedCart Features Height Adjustability and Compact Footprint For True Bedside Med Management

Rugged, flexible MedCart offers small 16 x 16 inch caster base, 12 auto-locking draws and bar code option

FRANKLIN, MA, November, 2005 - JACO, the global leader in wireless mobile pc products, announces the launch of the new Z-XP MedCart. In response to requests from healthcare professionals for a more compact option, this new model features a small 16 x 16 inch caster base, which allows it to roll easily into the patient's room, and to be positioned closer to a wall. The MedCart utilizes a unique 12 drawer, automatic locking system for true personal patient med management. It accommodates virtually any type of computer hardware and also provides both AC and DC power options.

The new Z-XP MedCart features a foot pedal actuator that allows one-hand height adjustment of the work surface for sitting or standing use. It can be equipped with a variety of options to hold thin or small thick client PCs, laptops, tablet computers, peripherals and bar code scanning capabilities. The Z-XP MedCart also is easily adapted for future technologies in hospital settings. A broad selection of convenient basket and cabinet options are available to meet all storage requirements.
